A 3D Printed Journey
While working towards Studio Art degrees at NYU in 2013, Sarah C. Awad and Dhemerae Ford had a fated meeting in class, and their combined forces became TheLaserGirls!
Their mission: to challenge, experiment, and educate around 3D technology and process. The duo set out to meld art and design into works that tackle bridging the gap between seemingly unachievable fantasies, and the individuals passionate about them.
With TheLaserGirls.Studio, Sarah and Dhemerae not only want to share their 3D printed journey, but also encourage others to get involved in the incredible maker community. They hope to give others a leg up the seemingly scary 3D printing wall, and inspire you to start your own 3D printed Journey!
